About us Dynamic Surveyors Software is a division of Property Industry Research Ltd and has been developed by surveyors for surveyors and assessors over the last 6 years using KBX Technology from DPL Professional. Christopher Legrand, Managing Director of Property Industry Research Ltd qualified as a Chartered Surveyor at the age of 21 and has over 40 years experience of practitioner experience in both the residential and commercial industry. In 1998 he was appointed Head of Professional Services at the (then) Incorporated Society of Valuers and Auctioneers (ISVA); a professional body that later merged with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). As a result of the focus he put on training and quality assurance for suveyors, he was invited by the designated government department to lead the research into the standards required for the delivery of the Home Condition Report. Deacon B.Sc. FRICS,
Director of
Property Industry Research Ltd, is a Chartered Surveyor dealing with commercial and residential properties
and sole proprietor of Wheeldon & Deacon. The firm specialises in
management of blocks of flats and portfolio of properties across England.
Simon is a former chairman of
the Essex Local Association and has sat on the General Practice Divisional
Council of the RICS, a Government Advisory Committee for the Energy
Performance of Buildings Directive, was a founder member of the National
Home Inspectors Association and is a former external examiner
at Anglia Ruskin University. Simon has spoken at many CPD meetings,
conferences and training days and is an advocate for Continuous
Professional Development (CPD). Together with Christopher Legrand he has
developed Dynamic Surveyors Software, a specialist software for
surveyors. Hugh
Dunsmore-Hardy FRSA, FNAEA,
Director of
Property Industry Research Ltd. His property industry credentials come from over 40 years experience in
residential agency and in 1994 he was appointed the first ever Chief
Executive of the National Association of Estate Agents, a position he held
for nine years. Hugh has his own property consultancy and is a board
member of a long established Estate Agency franchise and a trade body for
lettings’ agents. He has
been actively involved with various industry initiatives and changes,
focussed around improving standards through skills and knowledge based
